That’s a deceptive photo heading this post. . . those are books my husband and I bought ourselves for Christmas, and you’ll have to wait at least a month before they start showing up here. But I have a full slate of books I read in December — as usual, these range across the genres: literary fiction to memoir to popular genre fiction, book in translation, children’s novel, historical fiction. . . it’s all here.
