July Reading, 2025

Accompanying photo does NOT indicate that I’m now reading Albanian! But couldn’t help admiring bookshelves in the Tirana airport. My July books are all in English, with one Italian exception — mysteries, memoirs, literary fiction, love and marriage, dystopias, past and future. . . . Click through to browse the list, perhaps find something you’d like to read, and maybe even leave some suggestions to make our TBR lists even longer!

My June Reading, 2025

My June reading wasn’t quite as heavy as that photo (taken in Rome last fall) suggests: a few mysteries, a couple of books that are both literary fiction and literature in translation, and a mystery novel I read in Italian (and my husband read in English). Some of the reading was pure escape, some of it thought-provoking and even disturbing. Click through to read the post and join the book conversation. . .
