My June reading wasn’t quite as heavy as that photo (taken in Rome last fall) suggests: a few mysteries, a couple of books that are both literary fiction and literature in translation, and a mystery novel I read in Italian (and my husband read in English). A few words from a Guardian article on the value of fiction, and then a peek at my reading journal pages from May.
